OUR MISSION
The idea of "anazao" is founded to enhance the public’s awareness of waste reduction and community recycling - from turning unwanted food waste in our eyes and re-engineering it into something useful. The hope of "anazao" is to strengthen the social connection between people through recycling activities and sharing information in respect of environmentally friendly practices in society. By this, the thought of ‘Low consumption and Low waste’ can be inspired and hopefully we can return to the land with a simple life.
「重生再皂 anazao」盼望透過社區回收，把我們眼中看為無用的廚餘，重新改造為有用的東西，以達致有效減廢。「重生再皂 anazao」希望藉著回收行動來加強人與人之間的連繫；我們喜與區內坊眾分享實用環保資訊，從而推動坊眾愛惜社區，鼓勵他們在生活中實踐低消耗、低廢棄，以簡約生活回遺這片土地。
<Belief>
The concept of "anazao" comes from the Bible, John 3:3 "No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again" We are convinced that everyone can start things again. Only if they wish, our life will no longer be controlled or defined by our past experience. In fact, the theory of recycling is derived from the above bible verses where "anazao" is Greek, meaning "Live Again" and “Restore Strength”.
〈信念〉
「重生再皂 anazao」的意念源於聖經約翰福音三章三節：「人若不重生 ，就不能見上帝的國。」我們深信每個人都可以重新開始，只要願意，過去的種種就不能再轄制或定義我們。回收再造的概念也是源於上述經文，「anazao」是希臘文，字義是再活一次(Live Again)及復恢力量(Regain Strength)。
<Idea and Objectives>
"anazao" is to provide the opportunity for those who are in need and homeless during our pilot scheme. Most of them are receiving mental health care treatments, taking drugs for a long time and lacking of employment opportunities. We are hoping that the project of "anazao" can be developed into an experience work platform in near future where it allows a group of unemployed and homeless people to participate in recycling activities, touching base with the community, and rebuilding interpersonal relationship and self-confidence. Through this platform, they can also be able to move themselves to a new and positive phase of life. Indeed we look forward that the "anazao" will finally reach the goal of helping people out - being able to make their own livings.
In addition, "anazao" can also become a communication platform in a local community where the environmental protection information can be shared and the public’s interest be boosted to appreciate the beauty of nature, and then to understand the purpose and significance of God’s creation. We truly hope that the operation of "anazao" can be successfully developed and implemented, and it can also be extended to every community and campus.
〈理念與目標〉
「重生再皂 anazao」於孵化時期有機會參與關顧社區無家者的服務，他們大多是情緒病患者，長期服藥，缺乏就業機會。我們盼望「重生再皂 anazao」能在不久的將來發展為一個體驗工作平台，讓一群無業無家者能夠參與回收再造，接觸社群，體驗工作，藉以重建人際關係和自信，進而鼓勵他們開展正向新生活，我們期盼「重生再皂 anazao」最終達致助人自助的願景。此外，「重生再皂 anazao」亦希望能成為區內一個交流平台，分享環保資訊，並與坊眾一起從創造的角度去欣賞大自然是何其佳美，進而認識被造的目的和意義。我們深願「重生再皂 anazao」的運作模式能成功塑型，理念得以實行，並能擴展到每一個社區及校園。
